Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Evangelism is more than a set of techniques or steps to check off. It is the story of who Christ is and what He has done in our lives. Evangelism is therefore a way of life. And practicing evangelism necessitates studying Jesus’ life, values, and lifestyle and how the Holy Spirit works in and through us. In addition, the power of God’s truth is just as important.

So with the world’s culture being lost, and Lord willing, searching for meaning and purpose in life; Christ will is to be proclaim in Word and with our lives. As Christians, we are to be the salt and light of this world. Our lives need to reflect what Christ has done for us. And evangelism is merely an extension of who we are, a people transformed by Christ.

Take heart, Jesus is with us, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, He calls, equips and motivates us for this continuous ministry.
