Psalm 95:6 “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!

As we have seen over the last few weeks, true worship is about much more than music. When we have seen God’s mercy and grace, we will be radically transformed to do what we were created for — worshiping God with everything
in us.
As we think about worship, we must not merely think of our own interests
or Sunday morning, as worship is all-encompassing and life-changing for all
who believe, and it is through true worship that we both grow and build up
God’s church.
Be mindful that worship now is only a glimpse of heavenly worship. What will worship in heaven be like? It’ll be similar to worship on earth, but different because:
• God’s presence will be unveiled.
• Sin and its effects will be gone.
• We will have glorified bodies.
• We will live perfectly in light of truth.
• Our knowledge of God will be by sight.
Until then we live in the “already but not yet,” awaiting the marriage supper
of the lamb. And worshipping God with all that is true.
